The Wooden Board eliminates using seams and joints.
Our solid, single-piece construction greatly reduces splitting and cracking to ensure you with a higher quality product that is crafted for greater longevity.
A solid, well-made, beautiful, and unique wooden board is an essential part of any kitchen. Whether you are slicing or serving, a board is always the foundation of that preparation or display. Cutting up your chicken, meat, or vegetables or serving a Charcuterie, fruit w/ cheese platter, our boards hold it all together. Every new home and cook can attest to the fact that they "Love their Boards". Our style is classic, clean, timeless and 100% handmade, and one-of-a-kind board.
Be careful to choosing your board.
Small and narrow boards can be awkward for cutting and may lead to an accident. When it comes to cutting boards, bigger is better. Small cutting boards are fine when using a paring knife, although consider this assessment:
• Lay the knife you would most likely use diagonally across the cutting board's surface.
• The knife must have at least an extra inch or two of the board on both sides.
• This ensures that there is enough space for the knife to slice to its full length with room to spare for the ingredients.
Our boards are purposely thick as they are holding their place on countertops and allow for maximum safety while working in the kitchen.
Our wood cutting boards are naturally antimicrobial, which means they automatically fight the spread of germs and bacteria.
Our wooden cutting boards are also significantly more gentle on your knives than a plastic, glass, or marble cutting board. For your cutting boards, wooden bowls, spoons, spatulas, wooden handles, and even your knives, we recommend food-grade mineral oil also known as butcher block oil. It is a high-quality, nonreactive, tasteless, odorless, and colorless liquid paraffin product.
It’s not wise to use common oils from nuts and other plant seeds on your cutting boards. These oils are rich in fats that can go rancid after a short period. These oils can encourage bacteria, and the rancidity will transfer off-flavors to your food and emit odors.
Spoil yourself or spoil someone you love with one of our boards.
You and your guests will appreciate our boards each time you use them. They are one of the best investments for your kitchen and entertaining. We recommend that you use one side for cutting and one side for display.
